SHARMILA SINGH, ATTORNEY AT LAW
Sharmila Singh has been practicing law for 9 years. A strong believer in keeping family relationships in harmony, she brings a strong and sensitive voice into her cases. She has been a member of the California State Bar since 2001, and has worked at various offices in Los Angeles County. Sharmila Singh graduated from New York University cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics in 1992. A sincere interest in government and the legal system prompted Ms. Singh to obtain her juris doctorate at the Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, D.C. in 1995. While in law school, Ms. Singh was a student attorney at the Women and the Law Clinic where she represented indigent clients in domestic violence and child neglect cases.

GENERAL COMMENTS

Upon graduating from law school, Ms. Singh returned to New York City where she practiced family law both as a cooperating attorney with The National Coalition for Child Protection Reform, a non-profit group, and in her own private practice handling all aspects of divorce, custody, visitation and support cases.

In 2001, Ms. Singh relocated to California and was admitted to the California State Bar. Prior to joining our office, Ms. Singh worked with the west side firm of Harris·Ginsberg, LLP from 2001 through September 2004, where she further honed her family law knowledge and skills. Ms. Singh has lived in the San Fernando Valley since her relocation to California and is proud to be a part of the Valley’s legal community.
